General Director Letter October 9
Dear friends of Faith Bible Camp,
What a blessing to have approximately 587 campers of all ages and backgrounds who had countless opportunities to hear and respond to the message of hope and salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ in our fun, safe, caring, and nurturing atmosphere during our camp sessions this past summer. Numerous relationships were developed or strengthened as our staff had the privilege of connecting with campers. Our faithful supporters and member churches upheld our ministry daily in prayer and supported us with their time as volunteers, their finances, and encouragement.
Although the summer is behind us, we are evaluating and planning for our 2025 summer ministry. Our 2025 summer camp dates will be available by the end of this year, and we look forward to seeing our ministry continue to grow and develop in the years ahead! Please pray for our Board of Directors and Executive Committee as they faithfully serve the Lord by setting policies, implementing our camp program, and enhancing our campsite facilities. Please see the bottom of this post for pictures of our new Boys duplex cabin construction that is underway as an example of facility enhancements.
Celebration Banquet
Please join us for our Celebration Banquet on Saturday, October 19, at 6:00 p.m. at Charleswood Community Church. The evening will be a great time of fellowship as we enjoy a great meal and hear how the Lord worked at FBC this past summer! There will also be an update on our capital projects and an opportunity to contribute. Tickets are $20, which covers the cost of the meal. We need to provide attendance numbers to our caterer soon, so if you plan on attending, contact the camp office as soon as possible to reserve your tickets to pay at the door or purchase tickets online at faithbiblecamp.org. If you are unable to attend, donations can be made online at faithbiblecamp.org/donations, by e-transfer to info@faithbiblecamp.org, or by mailing a cheque to 760 Charleswood Road, Winnipeg, MB R3R 1K6.
